+BIackOp In my analysis, any conscious entity has three basic choices: Help, Neutral, Hurt, (and help, neutral, hurt to whom?).
In my current analysis I am down to only two possible options and with "Occam's razor" have narrowed it down to only one.
Either we truly have an eternal conscious existence somehow, someway, somewhere, in some state of existence, (I acknowledge possible as there is much I and even all of humanity do not know yet. But, if so, think about it. An actual eternal conscious existence, how many people would really want that?); Or, and more probably: we truly do not have an eternal conscious existence. One day we die from something, a death that will last into an actual eternity. Life itself is just an illusion from the human perspective as far as eternity is concerned.
Even rich and powerful people die one day too. What exactly will they or us remember after we die?
"The Suckiness of Life"
"Life sucks and then we die and/or life does not suck and then we still die. Then we either have a life after this life, which will probably suck and/or not suck, or we won't, all suckiness for us will end for eternity. But, while we exist, if life sucks, try to make it better and then it won't suck so bad."
But also, how exactly do we, individually and as a society of individuals, want to exist while we do exist? Apparently we have choices with all the consequences, seen and unseen, of all those collective choices. Then we die. Then what in actual reality?

You are apparently so wrong:
1. We are all going to die one day from something.
(The evidence for that is all about us, just have to open your eyes to see it everywhere);
2. We are all going to forget everything we ever knew and experienced.
(While modern science does not yet know what "consciousness" even is, nor even how a brain actually thinks a thought, two things so vital to how we even perceive apparent reality with, they do appear to be attached to our physical brain. When our brain dies, "we" die, for all of future eternity. There is currently no actual evidence that we have any sort of coherent soul that would retain anything after we physically die);
3. We are all going to be forgotten one day in future eternity.
(Future eternity being a really, really long term).
So, we are all going to die, forget everything, and be forgotten. "Life" itself is just an illusion in a future eternal context.
Unless there is truly at least one eternally consciously existent entity that truly exists throughout all of future eternity, and then even if such an entity existed, would have to have whatever it was matter to itself throughout it's actual eternal conscious existence, (while I acknowledge possible, there is currently no evidence that I am aware of that either of those things are really true), then everything would cease to matter one day as there wouldn't be a conscious entity left for anything at all to matter to. Even if I had all the knowledge, understanding, wisdom, and applications of "God" but one, (to have an actual eternal conscious existence), then I would still cease to consciously exist one day, forget everything, and be forgotten as there wouldn't be a conscious entity left to remember me or anything I may have done and/or not done.
1. Modern science says that the Sun is supposed to go out one day, (a very long time from now). Before it does, it will most probably become a Red Giant as it switches from burning hydrogen to burning helium and will most likely kill any life left on this planet. (Hence why also a very pro-active space program is so vital to have, to keep our species going longer into the future);
2. Modern science says that our galaxy and another galaxy will most probably collide one day, (here again, a very long time from now).
(So, we not only have to get out of this solar system but possibly out of this galaxy as well, or at least be able to move about in it to stay alive);
3. Modern science says that the forces of nature that this universe operates by all came into existence in the early moments of the "big bang" along with the rest of the universe and also that energy cannot be created nor destroyed. Hence, as the universe keeps expanding and cooling, energy is getting less and less dense, most probably on it's way to a "big freeze". Unless there is a way out of this universe, any life in this universe not dead by then, would die then, possibly frozen in time for literally eternity.
4. Modern science says that our current forces of nature all came into existence as the singularity initially expanded and cooled. As the universe continues to expand and cool, are the forces of nature going to "evolve"? Any current forces of nature going to change? Any new forces of nature going to come about? Any current forces of nature going to go extinct? Possibly even occurring in the very next moment of time? What happens to the universe and all in it, probably when, not if that day occurs?
So my fellow entity in this universe, how exactly are these "rich" people going to continue their legacy if there are no entities left in this universe? Even they are going to die one day from something, forget everything, and be forgotten, just like us "poor" people.
"Life" sucks and we die, and/or "life" does not suck and we still die. Then what in actual reality for the rest of actual eternity?
