@albertgreen8347 You are missing the point though. Who are society to tell an individual that they can't legally die? If the individual does not have an inherent right and legal right to die, then they are not truly totally free.
By your own words:
"It becomes a problem when you force me to do something because you think I will benefit from it. That abridges my freedoms."
a. "The problem with suicide is that it is most often a temporary mental illness. "
Not true.
b. "The number of people lamenting that they were prevented from suicide is infinitesimally small and is usually the case of crippling degenerative diseases."
So what? Either they too have a right to die or they don't. Why are they prevented from dying if they and they alone wish to die? Who exactly are society to tell an individual what they should do and/or not do? Either total individual freedoms, or one does not have total individual freedoms. Which is it?
c. "This is an actual chemical imbalance and we know historically that suicide does not actually improve the lives of anyone."
Also not true. Many people have sacrificed their very life for the greater good of the society left behind. Whether it's family members or friends, or battle comrades, or a nation.
Your whole argument falls apart and suicide should be legal all across America for all American citizens, otherwise, American citizens are not truly free, totally free, as society is imposing their will upon the individual, of which, you have already stated should not be done.
Your own words:
"It becomes a problem when you force me to do something because you think I will benefit from it. That abridges my freedoms."

And for those who insist that 1 true God actually exists and is the creator of this universe and all in existence, (this copy and paste from my files):
The entire universe and all in it came from the fart of a female rainbow colored unicorn. While this cannot be proven to be true, nobody can prove it not to be true either.
All hail the female rainbow colored unicorn and her life giving fart.
One just has to have 'faith' and 'believe' and not question 'God'.
And anybody who persecutes anybody who believes the above would be guilty of religious persecution and should be punished for such.
Oh and also: This 'God' said abortion is okay for any and all who want it. I and people who believe this 'faith religion', claim religious exemption from all laws making abortion illegal.
And anybody who does not obey this 'God' will be dumped on throughout all of future eternity by the rainbow colored unicorn herself.
She is a God of 'absolute truth'. She says that life itself from this Earth is ultimately meaningless in the grand scheme of things. She says all life from this Earth is going to die one day from something, is going to forget everything they ever knew and experienced, and are all going to be forgotten one day in future eternity as if they never ever existed at all in the first place. She says that if anybody does not like it, 'tough', she is God and that is how it is.
* And recently, she also passed onto me that vaccine mandates are also up to the believers for any believers who choose not to get vaccinated for whatever reason or reasons they and they alone might have.
* And then she told me that anybody can own and operate any weapon at all that they desire.
🌈🦄💥☁
ALL HAIL THE FEMALE RAINBOW COLORED UNICORN AND HER LIFE GIVING FART!!!
* More legal exemption requests to follow, based upon what the female rainbow colored unicorn tells me via our connection within my mind.
* Oh and also, she said that anybody who sends me money and/or other wealth (since I am currently one of her representatives here upon this planet called Earth), will receive abundant benefits after they die when in 'rainbow heaven'. She said it, so it must be really true.
* Spread this message far and wide around this Earth and beyond. You have my permission to copy and paste this message elsewhere to help spread the word of the 'real' God of the universe.

@extremelycareless2541 a. I don't have to work on anything. I am just doing this to distract my mind from more pressing matters. See 'b'.
b. Besides the 6th mass extinction event which has most probably already started upon this Earth due to natural reasons, (Earth's magnetic field weakening and moving and all the problems associated with those), consider also the following:
Ask yourself the following questions:
1. Ask yourself: How exactly do galaxies form? The current narrative is that matter, via gravity, attracts other matter.
2. Ask yourself: How exactly do galaxies become spiral shaped in a cause and effect state of existence? At least one way would be orbital velocity of matter with at least gravity acting upon that matter, would cause a spiral shaped effect.
3. Ask yourself: What does that mean for a solar system that exists in a spiral shaped galaxy? Most probably that solar system would be getting pulled toward the galactic gravitational center.
4. Ask yourself: What does that mean for species that exist on a planet, that exists in a solar system, that exists in a spiral shaped galaxy, in an apparent cause and effect state of existence? Most probably that if those species don't get off of that planet, and out of that solar system, and probably out of that galaxy too, (if it's even actually possible to do for various reasons), then they are all going to die one day from something and go extinct with probably no conscious entities left from that planet to care that they even ever existed at all in the first place, much less whatever they did and or didn't do with their time of existence.
5. Ask yourself: For those who might make it out of this galaxy, (here again, assuming it could actually be done for various reasons), where to go to next, how long to get there, how to safely land, and then, what's next? Hopefully they didn't land in another spiral shaped galaxy or a galaxy that would become spiral shaped one day, otherwise, they would have to galaxy hop through the universe to stay alive, otherwise, they still die one day from something with no conscious entities being left from the original planet to care they even ever existed at all in the first place, much less that they made it out of their own galaxy. They failed to consciously survive throughout all of future eternity.
6. Ask yourself: What exactly matters throughout all of future eternity and to whom does it exactly and eternally matter to?
Either at least one species truly consciously survives throughout all of future eternity somehow, someway, somewhere, in some state of existence, even if only by a continuous succession of ever evolving species, for life itself to have continued meaning and purpose to, OR none do and life itself is all ultimately meaningless in the grandest scheme of things.
Consider the following as well:
* There are 3 basic options for life itself, which reduce down to 2, which reduce down to only 1:
a. We truly have some sort of actual conscious existence throughout all of future eternity.
b. We die trying to truly have some sort of actual conscious existence throughout all of future eternity.
c. We die not trying to truly have some sort of actual conscious existence throughout all of future eternity.
* 3 reduced down to 2:
a. We truly have some sort of actual conscious existence throughout all of future eternity.
b. We don't. And note, two out of the three options above, we die.
* 2 reduced down to 1:
a. We truly have some sort of actual conscious existence throughout all of future eternity.
b. We truly don't have any conscious existence throughout all of future eternity.
(And note, these two appear to be mutually exclusive. Only one way would be really true.)
Currently:
Nature is our greatest ally in so far as Nature gives us life and a place to live it, AND Nature is also our greatest enemy that is going to take it all away. (OSICA)

Without a successful pro-active space program, we are ALL (Capitalists, Socialists, and everybody else too) going to die and go extinct.

Longer version of the original thread: (copy and paste from my files):
(Basically get economic inflation under control, OR eventually die and go extinct, which is probably going to occur anyway for various reasons).
Consider also, the US Fed has a target of 2% inflation every year. But that is also 2% on top of all the 2%'s that came before it, which turns out to be a lot of inflation over time.
Now first, if people's wages, benefits and even saving's account interest do not keep up with the true cost of inflation, they fall behind in buying power, and zero income is still zero income. But with economic inflation people would have a higher economic mountain to climb. They eventually could become economic slaves to the larger economy. And slavery was supposed to be done away with at least here in the USA. It seems it has been replaced by a system of 'economic slavery'. As America gets greater, a US Dollar should be able to buy more, not less.
Second, space travel, the ONLY thing that might save any species from this Earth, has gotten more expensive just in my lifetime. What is space travel going to cost in the next 100, 1000, 1 million years from now? Economic inflation just might be a contributing factor to the demise of all life from this planet Earth. And we did it to ourselves. Or more correctly the US Fed did it to us all, including themselves.
Instead of talk like doing away with the penny, they should actually be trying to bring back and maintain the value of the penny. And then have a target of 0% inflation annually. Otherwise, we all eventually die one day from something and go extinct, which is probably going to occur anyway, but without economic inflation, we would have a better chance of surviving. With economic inflation, less so.
What good is life if there is no entity left to live it? What good is money if there are no entities left to spend it?
Survive beyond this Earth, solar system and galaxy, OR die and go extinct. Those are the choices, (if we even actually have a choice). Currently, no exceptions.
* Everybody needs to become active in changing the US Fed's economic inflation policy.

@Drogers8675 Am I? Do 'I' even actually exist?
Modern science claims that all matter in this universe is made up of quarks, electrons and interacting energy. They also claim that energy cannot be created nor destroyed, hence, energy is a finite amount and eternally existent. Otherwise, modern science is wrong.
But now, do 'I' and all things actually even exist, OR do ONLY quarks, electrons and eternally existent energy exist as all things?
I exist and yet 'I' simultaneously do not exist, depending upon perspective. But, in reality, do "I" even actually exist at all in the first place? And if "I" do not exist, how can you ever even know me? There would be nothing of me to exist that you could ever know.
