  1. I WILL KEEP SAYING IT UNTIL IT CHANGES OR I DIE: 'We The People' need to rise up and pass a law that the US Fed has to have an annual economic inflation goal of zero percent (0%), NOT 2%. As America gets greater, a US Dollar should be able to buy more, not less. The US Fed with their 2% annual inflation goal are actually causing some economic and social problems in this nation and in this world. This is also a National Security issue as America and it's currency gets weaker in this world. If America's currency was to get stronger, more nations would want to utilize America's currency and it's ways.

  2.  @SK-le1gm  People also do not look far enough into the future. Space travel, the ONLY thing that will save any species from this Earth, has gotten more expensive just in my lifetime. What is space travel going to cost in the next 100, 1000, 1 million years from now? Economic inflation might just be a contributing factor to the demise of all life from this Earth, and we did it to ourselves, or more correctly, the US Fed did it to us all, including themselves. And they are supposed to be the 'smart' ones.

  3.  @phil20_20  Inflation upon previous inflation turns out to be a lot of inflation over time. Anything greater than 0% inflation continuously, will compound upon itself. And banks have been getting basically next to nothing as far as a loan rate from the Fed. So how come banks have not been lowering their charge card rates and/or paying more on saving's account interest? Are they in financial trouble and/or are they just plain greedy?

  4.  @notinterested9097  Hence America should strengthen it's currency so that more nations would want to continue to utilize America's currency. This is actually a national security issue and the Fed should be forced to change it's ways to having a 0% annual inflation goal and NOT a 2% annual inflation goal.
