I WILL KEEP SAYING IT UNTIL IT CHANGES OR I DIE: 'We The People' need to rise up and pass a law that the US Fed has to have an annual economic inflation goal of zero percent (0%), NOT 2%. As America gets greater, a US Dollar should be able to buy more, not less. The US Fed with their 2% annual inflation goal are actually causing some economic and social problems in this nation and in this world. Additionally as America's currency gets stronger, more nations would want to utilize America's currency. For a nation to truly be great on this Earth, they should be a nation that other nations look up to and want to be more like, and even if possible to become one with, not by force and/or out of fear, but willingly. That is true greatness. (Since this is my idea, you have my permission to copy and paste this idea elsewhere to help spread the word).

@georgemaximus694 That is currently the way I see it. The US Fed's current inflation goals are a part of the problem here in America. The Fed should have a zero percent inflation goal. If inflation goes up, they should bring it down. If deflation occurs below zero percent inflation, they should bring it up. The current US Fed is certainly a part of societies' woes.

@gds7777777 The Fed should change their inflation goal from 2% down to 0%. Space travel, the ONLY thing that might save any species from this Earth, has gotten more expensive just in my lifetime. The Fed's inflation upon previous inflation, might just be a contributing factor to all life on this Earth dying and going extinct. So, which is worse? Even a great depression OR eternal death of all life on this Earth?

@Vulcain-we5tw What good is population growth if they are all poor?
1
@Vulcain-we5tw So, less population it is. And if the rich people were gone, that would be that much more for everybody else too right? Main focus should be on the center middle class for 'best economy'?
1
@Vulcain-we5tw Okay, so what is the 'best economy', and 'best' for whom? Where should the main focus be and 'why'?
