Consider the following:
Article IV, Section 2 of The Constitution of the United States: (in part)
The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States.
Amendment XIV, Section 1 in the Amendments to the Constitution of the United States:
All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.
So now, with the exception of the age to vote and the age to hold certain public offices, are ALL other age related laws unconstitutional, including all the laws that help to protect or punish the children who are citizens of the United States? Are we all basically violating the constitutional rights of American citizens on a daily basis? Now, unless there were a specific constitutional amendment stating one had to be of a certain age to possess certain rights, privileges or immunities, (of which there currently is not), then are ALL other laws specifically concerning children unconstitutional? And note, mental capacity of a citizen is not listed as being necessary as to exercise their rights, privileges or immunities.
Now, I am not saying we should throw away all the laws that we have to protect and punish the children, but aren't the children's (those of whom are citizens of the United States), constitutional rights being violated on a daily basis?
Here again, I want to be very specific. I believe we should love, protect and educate the children. But don't they have rights, privileges and immunities under the Constitution of the United States too?
"We The People" should create and implement a constitutional amendment concerning when certain rights, privileges, or immunities take effect concerning citizens of the United States, otherwise, we are potentially violating the constitutional rights of American citizens on a daily basis.
Or at least so it seems to me. Now, if any lawyers out there can show me in the Constitution where it says differently, please do so.
