Well then, you are just as much an idiot as Trump is.
Here's the real deal:
Everyone should ask themselves:
"What exactly is being done to try to save any species from eternal conscious extinction?"
a. This Earth is most probably entering into it's sixth mass extinction event.
b. Modern science tells us that this Earth and it's Sun will not last for literally all of future eternity.
c. Personally, I believe our solar system is being pulled toward our galactic center's black hole.
d. Main stream modern science claims that this supposed expanding universe is most likely going to end in a "big freeze".
Now, "a' hasn't happened yet but it looks highly likely that it is going to happen; "b" is pretty much a sure thing; "c" has to have actual measurements taken between our solar system and adjacent solar systems over a prolonged period of time to see if it's really true or not; "d" I could show how main stream modern science might be wrong about that.
But "b" is the one that will kill us all. We need more "space industrial complexes" and less "military industrial complexes". Otherwise, WE ALL DIE, even those in the military industrial complexes.
If there isn't at least one truly eternally consciously existent entity that truly exists throughout all of future eternity, even if only by a succession of ever evolving conscious species, then one day there will be no conscious entities to care about anything or anyone ever again. Life itself would all be ultimately meaningless in the grandest scheme of things. It won't matter how rich or poor anybody was, or what kind of job they had, or house they lived in, or car they drove, or even how many descendants a person may or may not have had. Nothing at all would matter because there would be no conscious entity left to care. Life itself would all just be an illusion, an illusion that would end one day and be forgotten.
We are ALL going to die one day from something.
We are ALL going to forget everything we ever knew and experienced.
We are ALL going to be forgotten one day in future eternity.
(Or so it currently appears.)
The sum total of our existence is only what we leave behind including how our existence affected the larger society that we existed in. The thing is though that there has to be at least one conscious entity left for anything to have meaning to. And then it would still have to have meaning to that entity or entities throughout their eternal conscious existence. Otherwise, it all still gets forgotten one day anyway.
But, without a pro-active space program that might save any species from this Earth, who's the real moron? Of course, if main stream modern science is correct that this universe is all going to end one day anyway, then let's just enjoy this life and when we party, party like there is no tomorrow because one day we will be correct. But enjoying life or not, and/or party or not, we still all die one day from something, forget it all, and are forgotten.
Eternal conscious existence is even at a higher order than the government or business. For without eternal conscious existence, nothing at all matters.
