As a political Independent I do try to keep my mind open and believe in the premise that people are basically innocent until proven guilty.
BUT:
1. Take into account all the rhetoric Trump put out favoring the Russians during the campaign.
2. Take into account Trumps favoritism of Russia since taking office. Trump can't even agree with the USA'S Intelligence agencies who's job it is to find out things like that.
3. Take into account Flynn and his escapades.
4. Take into account Sessions and his escapades.
5. Take into account Trump Jr. and his escapades including one lie after another lie after another lie.
6. Take into account Kushner can't even fill out government forms correctly and yet he is supposed to bring peace to the Middle East?
7. Take into account it has already been publically admitted that Trump and family already had financial dealings with the Russians.
8. Take into account that at least some of the Trump families' business dealings possibly are linked to the Russian mob, even if Trump and his family were unaware of it at the time.
9. Take into account this is exactly how Russian KGB most probably would function. Infiltrate and possibly blackmail the President and his cohorts.
Granted, while these might all just be circumstantial evidence, they do seem to paint a broad picture that this nation has a problem with Trump being President and his and his families' connections with Russia, even if they are all perfectly innocent on the part of Trump and his family. (Of which that is what the investigation is in part trying to figure out. As I said in the opening thread, "If they have nothing to hide, they have nothing to fear.")
And why exactly is Kusher meeting behind closed doors with the Senate investigation's Committee and not under oath and not out in the open? If he has nothing to hide, then why is it being done behind closed doors and not under oath?
Like many people in this great nation of the USA, (of which is another thing, the USA never stopped being great, just another apparent lie of Trump), I swore an oath to protect this nation from all enemies foreign AND DOMESTIC. It is highly possible that some of the biggest threats to the USA's democracy is from those that are supposed to be leading this nation. Was treasonous acts actually committed? Maybe. Hence also though the investigations to find out one way or another.
Now personally, I believe we should get along with Russia and we already do, consider the ISS. The Russians have even given some of our astronauts rides to and from the space station.
If conscious species don't get off of this planet Earth and out of this solar system, then one day we all die and nobody will be left to care about it all anyway. We as a species have bigger problems to worry about then geo-politics. These politicians need to grow up and do what's right for species on this planet. Otherwise, it's all ultimately meaningless no matter what they do and/or don't do. They failed to consciously survive beyond this Earth and solar system. Dumb-asses.
