@hananokuni2580 a. North convoy: It could be they are stalled for one reason or another, or it could be they are waiting for the eastern and southern troops to catch up to surround the capital before fully invading the capital.
1. BUT: at this time it seems there are 4 basic choices:
* They are still an invading army convoy with hostile intent, and therefore should be dealt with.
* They just haven't decided to surrender yet. Maybe they will when they run out of fuel, food and water.
* They haven't turned the convoy around and headed back out of Ukraine, if they even can. (Possibly out of fuel).
* They haven't left their vehicles behind and walked back to Belarus or Russia.
BUT: at this time, the first option seems to still be relevant at this time: They are still an invading army convoy with hostile intent and therefore should be dealt with. How much easier does the invading army convoy want to make it to just sit there on a single road all lined up for days? Take out the lead vehicles to help ensure the convoy does not move forward and take out the supply vehicles so the convoy runs out of fuel, food and water. And if they still don't surrender or leave their vehicles behind and leave Ukraine, then take out the invading army that has hostile intent.
I am open to other suggestions, but right now it seems like a no brainer to me.
b. Southern and Eastern invading troops: Either they wipe out the entire Ukrainian supporting population, OR Russia becomes an occupying force with rebels in their midst to form a resistance against Russia. But even if Russia wiped out the entire Ukrainian population inside Ukraine, there will always be other Ukrainians outside of Russia that might go after Russia with a vengeance. And Putin will not live forever.
And then of course also, Putin has united NATO and unified NATO's resolve against Putin and Russia.
Long term: It seems to me this will not end well for Putin nor Russia.
