The economic problems in the USA are in large part due to the US Fed with their 'goal' of having economic inflation. Even 2% inflation every year, on top of all the 2%'s that came before it, turns out to be an exponential amount of inflation over time. And zero income is still zero income, that hasn't changed. People just have a higher economic mountain to climb and most businesses don't pay wage increases that keep up with the true cost of inflation. So even people that are loyal dedicated hard working employees are getting poorer with their buying power. As a nation gets greater, it's currency should buy more, not less.

@telescopicS627 It seems to be set up as a transfer of wealth from the middle class and poor to the rich. Of course also, the system was set up by the rich. If the middle class and poor do not fight back against the rich, who will?
