  1. Question: As Turkey moves into Syria utilizing military force, to control the land that Turkey seizes from Syria, how is that any different really than Russia utilizing military force to control parts of Ukraine? Should the world treat Turkey as the world has treated Russia?

  2.  @hakanelmaci  According to this video, it appears that Turkey is going to occupy that part of Syria to enforce what it believes to be correct over the population. So, how is that different from what Russia did with Ukraine?

  3.  @md.feanor  "Turkey just wanting safe zone ." Sooooo......, why doesn't Turkey build a 'safe zone' on their own property? Why do they have to invade and occupy Syria to build that safe zone? And if Russia is punished for invading and occupying Ukraine, why shouldn't Turkey be punished for invading and occupying Syria?

Don't the Kurds have a right to exist however they want to exist in their own land of existence? And if there is a disagreement within Syria as to how Syrians want to exist in mass, well, even the USA had it's own civil war to decide the fate of the USA. Isn't even Israel doing that with Palistine? And then, if Russia gets in trouble with the world for taking parts of Ukraine, and the Kurds want to take other's lands, and Turkey wants to take part of Syria's land to rule over it as they see fit, how is all of that really any different? d. Maybe if NATO and the US didn't interfere and let the Kurds live however they wanted to live within their own land, maybe the Kurds would not be pissed off at others? Russia was a part of the G8 and got kicked out due to their invasion of Ukraine. Why shouldn't Turkey get kicked out of NATO? f. Then why is Russia, the US, and others interfering in Syria with potential civil wars within Syria and border wars between Syria and Turkey? The USA pulling out of Syria just opens the door wider for Russia, of whom apparently backs Assad. Which raises even larger issues for America and the world. Is Trump intentionally and willfully weakening America's position in this world while simultaneously raising Russia's place in this world? Who's side is Trump truly on besides 'team Trump'?

  6.  Randy Porter  Of which, 'if' so, then Syria should have sovereign rights just as any other sovereign nation should. It's also like Trump threatening to wipe North Korea and Iran off the face of this Earth, two sovereign nations, basically threatening to commit 'crimes against humanity'. Of which, who's the bigger threat to this world? North Korea and/or Iran, or Trump and the USA? In my mind, the only thing worse than threatening to do 'crimes against humanity' is actually doing 'crimes against humanity'. Of which, what exactly is 'humanity' going to do with being threatened to be partially wiped out or actually partially being wiped out? (And note also, nature is going to wipe out most of humanity anyway in the 6th mass extinction event that has already started due to natural reasons. Why isn't humanity 'fighting' against nature that is going to wipe out most of humanity?)

  7.  @hakanelmaci  Here again, according to this video, it appears that Turkey is going to invade and occupy the northern part of Syria and rule over those there as Turkey sees fit. When you say, "Look if we occupy land from Syria, we would face sanctions by many countries. It isn't worth it. Turkey is big enough for us.", you sound like you are from Turkey. If so, then why are the Kurds themselves so bad? Worse than Assad who supposedly actually committed crimes against his own people?

  8.  @hakanelmaci  But then again, isn't Russia backing Assad in Syria? And you mention that you would respect the election. But what if the election was rigged so that Assad would win? Still respect their vote? And Assad keeps killing those within his nation that opposes him? "If the Kurds establish there own country in North Syria there next step would be to connect to the Kurdish region in North Iraq." How exactly do you know this for certainty? And wouldn't Iraq have something to say about that? "And keep expanding over Turkey and Iran." Isn't Israel doing that to Palistine and Russia doing that to Ukraine? Why does Russia get punished and Israel doesn't? And why should the Kurds be punished and Israel isn't? And why shouldn't Turkey be punished if they invade and occupy that portion of Syria? "This not gonna happen with Turkey ever. " As a sovereign nation should be able to protect itself by ANY means necessary. Which also would include Syria, Ukraine, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, etc, etc, etc. The world either recognizes a nation as being a sovereign nation or it doesn't. If a nation is recognized as being a sovereign nation by the world, then it should be dealt with as a sovereign nation by the world. Very few livable places upon this Earth are not under the control of a sovereign nation.

"IF" Russia is punished for invading and occupying Ukraine by the world, 'then': b. How come the world is not punishing Israel for invading and occupying Palistine? c. Or as of today, Turkey invading and occupying Syria? * Why do some nations get punished by the world and others do not?

  10.  Lord Admiral Spire  With thinking like that, then why not have a dictator over the whole world and whomever does not do what he/she/it says, dies. There would possibly be 'peace on Earth' under that system, in part because all the dissenters were dead and the rest of society would be living in fear of being killed themselves. Do you want me to be the dictator of the world ruling over you? If not, does that give me a right to kill you? (Hypothetical question, no threat given here, just a discussion.) How exactly do we, individually and as a society of individuals, want to exist while we do exist? And who decides? And by what authority do they and they alone get to decide? Should I decide how you should exist? Should you decide how I should exist? Should others decide how we both should exist? Should we decide how others should exist? And who even decides in how to decide? And by what authority do they and they alone get to decide?

  11.  Lord Admiral Spire  a. Note: I did not receive a bell notification of your latest response. I just happened to check back and found it now. This often happens with my account. b. I agree with your assessments as stated above at this time. The USA who has only been around for hundreds of years believes it knows better than other nations that have been around for thousands of years. Kind of like a child believing they know more than the adults. But also, even children possess wisdom at times. A wise adult would also learn to listen to children to gain greater wisdom themselves. Where logic and reason come into play in a cause and effect state of existence that we all appear are existing in. And then of course whatever agendas entities actually had. Every entity has an agenda, even nature could be said to have an agenda, to follow the laws of nature. Agendas can range from being open and honest to hidden and not honest and could be life long to changing from moment in time. But with the 'dictators' view of how a nation should be run, what agenda does the dictator have? To sacrifice others for their own gain, or to sacrifice of self to help others, specifically those in the nation they rule, but also for their neighboring countries and even extending to all entities in existence everywhere in existence? c. Of which, also raises some important questions: 'What exactly matters throughout all of future eternity and to whom does it exactly and eternally matter to?' Currently, my analysis indicates that 'pertinent facts' matter, but that we here on this Earth are it. We either truly find a way to consciously exist throughout all of future eternity, (beyond this Earth, solar system and galaxy if my assessment is correct), or we are all going to die and go extinct, will all forget everything we ever knew and experienced, and will all be forgotten one day in future eternity as if we never ever existed at all in the first place, and life itself would all be ultimately meaningless in the grand scheme of things. But then still, how exactly do we, individually and as a society of individuals, want to exist while we do exist? And who decides? And by what authority do they and they alone get to decide? Wouldn't life itself be better if we all worked together for the common goal of having at least one species consciously survive beyond this Earth and to find our future home in the stars? d. With the 6th mass extinction event that has already started upon this Earth in large part due to natural reasons, (note also, there have supposedly been 5 mass extinction events here upon this Earth even before humans even ever existed, nature does not need humans to cause extinction events), many of humans problems are going to be solved as one day, possibly this century, there will be many less humans upon this Earth. And of course, one day in the future, it looks like there won't even be any humans left to care.
