Question: If we bombard a crater on the Moon or Mars with protons, could we eventually generate water in that crater? If so, it would be a game changer.

And also, a crater within a crater within yet another crater, (a triple crater). The lowest crater being where the water could be. The middle crater where we could live. The upper crater being part of the atmosphere for that crater civilization. And of course also, all those impact sites might have other resources that could be potentially utilized. Not many triple craters on the Moon and Mars. First come, first served. And bring an inflatable boat if you want to float around gazing at the Earth. Pool party on the Moon or Mars. Bring your own booze and music.

@k1dicarus If one can dream, might as well dream big. And don't forget about the headset with music. It would be a sad existence without music. But, the proton thing is probably really true though also, especially probably on Mars. And then also, consider another comment of mine for this video: (Copy and pasted here for your perusal): Consider the following: When people and/or animals or even plants die on this Earth, and are cremated, put their ashes in a crater on the Moon or Mars to help enrich the soil. What better 'headstone' than the Moon or Mars? And this program could also help fund the space program. Basically, future generations could 'eat our body and drink our blood' and continue to live longer into the future beyond this Earth. Sign me up. * So, floating on a crater pool, sipping on a drink, listening to music, with vegetation all around, gazing at the Earth. And sometimes dreams even come true, so dream big.
