In natural disasters such as what has happened to some of these islands, how come the USA does not send in a carrier and/or pay for cruise ships to help provide humanitarian support? 46's, 47's, and/or 53's could shuttle people from shore to the ship if utilizing the carrier. Let's show the rest of the world just how 'great' the USA can be with humanitarian aid. Let's see if other nations can do better than the USA.

  3.  @2HRTS1LOVE  Just like the USA treated their own people in Puerto Rico? Of which also, Puerto Rico should be made the 51st US State or cut them loose to be their own nation. Winning over humanities' hearts and minds will go farther than killing humanity. Be a force for good in this world, but yes also, a military force when and if needed. Consider also, it's people who make those carrier groups great. Without people, those carrier groups are just floating metal. Even drone ships have people behind them controlling them. Winning over the hearts and minds of humanity could be one of the greatest national defense programs as people would possibly even protect the USA, possibly even join the USA, or even possibly to become one with the USA, not by force, but willingly. And in addition, there is another part of the opening thread that you have appeared to miss: "... and/or pay for cruise ships to help provide humanitarian support?" (Unless of course you are utilizing cruise ships for national defense too.)

  5.  @stephenmikulec642  Thanks for the info, but it appears to be a small amount of people rescued compared to the actual disaster. Kind of like Trump throwing rolls of paper towels to those on Puerto Rico. I guess I shouldn't expect more from Trump even though he is President of the USA. And Trump doesn't seem to have a problem taking billions of dollars away from the military that was already allocated for projects to build his wall that he guaranteed Mexico would pay for.
