Consider this update: FOR ALL DEMOCRACIES OF THE WORLD: Do away with all the formal political parties at ALL levels of governance and ALL politicians should be political Independents. Sure, the politicians could still gather around like minded issues, just no more formal political parties at any level of governance so as to have a better democracy for your nation and for the world. These formal political parties have become too large, too powerful and too ingrained in the government and as such have distorted the valid democratic process for the individuals in the nation.

Consider this copy and paste from my files as well: Some entity that knows how to, PLEASE DO THE FOLLOWING: * Create a national non-profit organization that looks out for the interests of the American workers. Could even call it the 'NEO', National Employee's Organization. * Model it after the AARP that looks out for the interests of older people. * Anybody would be allowed to join and/or support the organization and those that didn't want to wouldn't have to. It would not be a union but a non-profit organization. * I can foresee the 'NEO' eventually putting forward political candidates and supporting judges who are sympathetic to their cause. Given enough support, I can even foresee the Constitution of the United States being amended in a clear fashion that even Supreme Court Justices could only interpret one way. * It's 'We The People' that truly make America great and it's the 'American worker' who actually built America to be what it is. Rise up, unite in a national organization, and let's take 'our' nation back for a better America and a better world. POWER TO THE PEOPLE !!! POWER TO THE EMPLOYEE'S !!! POWER TO THE NEO !!! * Note also: As this is my own idea, you have my permission to copy and paste this into your own files and/or elsewhere to help spread the word and to build consensus on making this idea a reality.

The party in power basically wants to do away with the filibuster so as to pass their agendas easier. The party not in power basically wants to keep the filibuster, so as to have more leverage if necessary to stop certain agendas from being implemented. But then, consider the following copy and paste from my files:
