Consider the following: The rich powerful people often make the laws, (that often benefit themselves), of course they want to support the police who enforce those laws. The thing is though, we need better laws to begin with, of which, we need better politicians to begin with.

@WhoWhoandZulu Yep, that is how I currently see it. We need better politicians to write better laws. Laws that benefit everybody, not just the rich powerful few. Then the police could enforce those laws too, even if against the rich powerful few.

@WhoWhoandZulu That is why the system needs to change. The Senators are supposed to work for the 'We The People' they represent, all of the 'We The People' they represent, as it is supposed to be, not just for the rich powerful few.
