Kind of like how the Republican party packed the court under Trump? What is good for one party is good for another party.
63
@johnrobi0 And yet, the Republican party would not let Obama fill a vacancy in his last year in office. Hypocrisy much?
14
Justin Edwards Republicans have their own alternative facts, delusional facts.
8
@stabithathecrazycreepers6045 The way the Republican party packed the courts under Trump is still packing the courts dummy. Especially how the Republicans treated Obama in his last year in office.
6
@bradfiegehen7092 The way the Republican party filled those seats was 'packing the court'.
6
@KryptonianDUFF The way the Republicans filled those seats under Trump was 'packing the court'. You got your way under Trump, now you want to cry like a baby under Biden.
6
Justin Edwards And I guess I agree to disagree with you. Republicans packed the court under Trump, and now are crying like a baby under Biden.
4
@richd4612 And yet, the Republican party would not let Obama fill an open vacancy in his last year in office, but yet let Trump fill a vacancy in basically his last month in office. Hypocrisy much???? Plus how Kavenaugh was pushed through, who should have never been pushed through. And what exactly would be a problem raising the number of Justices from 9 to 13 if they are all honest and fair Justices?
4
Justin Edwards Oh and also, who's to say raising the number of Justices from 9 to 13 would push the court one way or another if Justices were fairly and honestly put forward and approved? A Justice is a Justice, or at least they are supposed to be.

@angrybeef3647 Hey, I am a political Independent and am not beholden to the Republicans nor the Democrats. It's just fun watching cry babies fight with each other. Trump 'packed the courts' because of how it all went down under Trump. Now the Republicans are crying because they are not getting their own way, just like a spoiled little child. Wah..........
2
@johnpatrick1647 Just like the Republicans would not let Obama fill a vacancy in his last year in office. When Republicans do it to Dems, it's okay in the Republican rule book. When Dems do it to Republicans, Republicans cry like a baby.
2
@truckingaround2804 The Republicans would not even give a hearing or an up or down vote. Just claimed that a President should not fill a vacancy in the Supreme Court in their last year in office. BUT, it's okay if it's a Republican President. Hypocrite.
2
@rrf6747 So, why are Republicans crying so much because Biden and the Democrats are legally raising the number of Justices on the Supreme Court? Give my a break. You all are hypocrites is all. You force Justices onto the Supreme Court under Trump and cry when anybody else does it.
1
@octaviotapatio2026 Neither do Republicans. The party in power can also raise the number of Supreme Court Justices too. Or do you not want politicians to follow the law and what the law allows?
1
@mikecooke4602 Where did you read whereby I said the supreme court is not a third power? More 'alternative facts' from a deluded individual?
1
Justin Edwards I am an American with free speech. So 'no' and 'bite me'. 60% of which voters? Only the voters the Republican party allows to vote? Why won't the Republican party allow all valid American citizens to vote as easily as possible? Because the are afraid little whiney babies who don't like it when they don't get their own way? America in the majority rejected the Republican party, hence the Democrats are currently ruling. But I understand, Republicans cannot even accept free and fair elections, because they lose if it occurred.
1
@johnpatrick1647 Hey, a State wants to secede? See ya. Have a nice life. Then your fate will be the same as the rest of us. a. Species stay on this Earth: They eventually die and go extinct. b. Species leave this Earth: Currently, they eventually die and go extinct. Life itself is all ultimately meaningless in the grand scheme of things. You don't matter, I don't matter, the Republican and Democrat parties don't matter, America doesn't even matter. All of life itself is ultimately meaningless. And only deluded individuals believe otherwise.
1
Justin Edwards Republicans 'packed the courts' under Trump. I know Republicans cannot deal with real reality, but there it is. Why are Republicans deluded so much? Why cannot Republicans deal with real reality?
1
@AKJames762 I don't care what it means to you, I care what it means to me. Republicans packed the courts under Trump due to how the Republicans filled those vacancies. Like it or not, Republicans 'packed' the courts as well. Courts should not be political, but certainly in my lifetime, they have become political.
1
@richd4612 Because 13 is such a lucky number and 9 is not. You might not like my answer, but there it is.
1
@mikecooke4602 Obama just wanted to fill a seat on the Court in his last year in office and the Republicans would not let him and yet allowed Trump to do so in his last year in office. Hypocrisy much????
1
Justin Edwards Republicans 'packed' the Supreme Court under Trump. Go back in the media records and see how many Republicans touted that the Republicans did so. Why would they do that if they didn't want to politically sway the Supreme Court? Or are you just a moron and cannot understand that?
1
@mikecooke4602 Oh, and Biden is your President too, the joke is on you.
1
@hanshansen3885 The Republican party are just a bunch of cry babies when they don't get their own way.
1
@maranatha9769 This coming from a crack pipe smoker by your own admission.

The Dems can apparently legally change the number of Justices on the Supreme Court, and they apparently have enough current power to do so. They are not breaking the law even if they choose to do so. People may not like it if they do, but you know, there are a lot of things the Republicans do that people do not like either. (And note: I am a political Independent and am not beholden to any major political party). I believe there should be term limits for Supreme Court Justices. Nobody in America should have a job for life, otherwise, they literally work till the day they die. It's actually not fair to them to not have term limits. It's not like America is short of lawyers and judges who could fill a seat.
