When, not if, the Democrats get back in the White House, the following "NATIONAL EMERGENCIES" can be declared: a. As the Declaration Of Independence declares that the government is supposed to keep it's citizens 'safe and happy', a national single payer health care system would be necessary to help keep the citizens 'safe'. b. Ditto above about the DOI, a government paid education system would be needed to help keep the citizens 'happy'. This is fun, what other 'National Emergencies' can we come up with? Possibly doing away with fossil fuels and implementing 'green' energy? Possibly reducing drug costs? Possibly doing away with corruption in the government? The list could possibly be endless.

@RuffCut They are 'national emergencies' too. And I had a new one come to me too: The nation's debt is getting so out of hand, it's a 'national emergency'. Therefore: a. Tax revenue from all those who make more than one million dollars will be sent to reduce the nation's debt, as well as increased taxation where legally allowed to do so, (businesses included). b. Property will be confiscated (utilizing 'eminant domain') and sold to reduce the nations debt, businesses included. The more expensive the property, the more money the government could get to reduce the nation's debt. Hey, it's a 'national emergency'. Even those who make more than a million dollars have to do their part.

@RuffCut Hey, if Trump can declare a 'national emergency' at the southern border where no emergency actually exists, surely the massive national debt would be a true national emergency. Future Presidents will utilize that to what ever benefit they can.

You Republicans are dumber than I even give you credit for. Just wait until a Democrat becomes President and see how many more 'national emergencies' will be declared.
