Consider that they can't even prove that 'God' even actually exists.
In the Hebrew Bible, it's claimed that they and they alone are the chosen people of 'God'. But, if 'God' does not actually exist, exactly whom are they the chosen people of?
In the Catholic Bible, it's claimed that they and they alone speak for 'God'. But, if 'God' does not actually exist, exactly whom are they speaking for?
If I write my own Bible and claim that I am 'God', does that make it true? But, if 'God' does not actually exist, exactly whom am I but myself?
'Sin' is just a human concoction. It's their concoction in their own belief system, therefore, only they can 'sin'. Everybody else is free from 'sin'.

Nope, not Muslim, Christian. Studied numerous translations of the canonized scriptures, non-canonized documents, and even heretical writings. While there is core truth in the Bible, and even valuable wisdom in there that if followed could lead one to having a happier, healthier and even potentially longer life. BUT, there are things in there that are not 100% true. If something is not 100% true, what else can it contain but lies? Now, I don't believe 'God' would lie, nor have a reason to lie, 'God' is 'God'. But humans sure do lie, and not just Republicans and Democrats.
The good thing though is that all of existence itself is ultimately meaningless in the grand scheme of things. We are ALL going to die and go extinct, at least according to the latest analysis. Life itself is all just an illusion, an illusion that is all going to end and be forgotten. Enjoy your illusion as I am trying to enjoy mine by occasionally exercising my freedom of speech, as you are doing also. It helps to pass the time before I die.

Just shows how ignorant you really are. The United States is a nation of laws. The laws you seem to be referring to are religious laws which only apply to those in that religion. You probably can't even prove that 'God' even actually exists. But laws certainly exist, and those who break them are 'law breakers', not sinners.
You want truth and consequences?
Modern science claims that there have been 5 mass extinction events here on this Earth, there will be a 6th, it's not a matter of 'if' but 'when'. Many people believe that time is this century for various reasons. And the 6th mass extinction event most probably won't be the last in the future of this Earth.
Modern science claims that this Earth and it's Sun will not last for literally all of future eternity. This appears to be really true.
If species from this Earth don't successfully get off of this Earth and out of this solar system, then we ALL die and go extinct and there will be no conscious entities left to care any of us even ever existed at all in the first place much less whatever anybody did and/or didn't do or believed in and/or didn't believe in. The only truth that would matter is that we are no longer consciously alive in the future.
Now, modern science does not even know what causes gravity nor how to generate artificial gravity other than large spinning space ships but that won't work for space bases on moons and planets. And without artificial gravity for space bases, we probably won't successfully make it out of this solar system and we all die and go extinct.
In addition, space travel has gotten very expensive just in my life time. What exactly is space travel going to cost in the next one hundred, one thousand, one million years from now? Economic inflation just might kill us all.
Life itself is ultimately meaningless in the grand scheme of things. It's all just an illusion, an illusion that is all going to end one day and be forgotten. Just some people don't want to face actual apparent reality but would rather delude themselves with other belief systems.
