  2. Warrior for God a. You can't even prove "God" exists by your own admission and yet you hide behind your sock puppet ID. b. I was born into and raised as a Lutheran. I have studied for decades and decades concerning many religions. I have studied many translations of the canonized scriptures, non-canonized documents, and even heretical writings. While I, like you, cannot prove "God" exists nor can prove that "God" does not exist, I at least try to keep my mind open concerning the existence of "God" or "God's". You apparently have made up your mind without having any actual evidence to support your belief that "God" actually, factually exists. c. Many people in this world used to believe with their whole heart, soul, and mind so to speak that this world was flat. It turns out they were wrong. Many powerful people in this world used to believe with their whole heart, soul, and mind so to speak that we existed in a geo-centric solar system and to think and believe otherwise was considered heresy and was punished, even fatally punished at times. It turns out those people were wrong too. So, just believing in something with one's own whole heart, soul, and mind so to speak does not automatically mean that what one believes to be true is in fact actually, factually true. Hence, some sort of actual evidence needs to be provided to support those beliefs. Otherwise, a person might just believing in fairy tales as if they were really true. Hence, in my opening thread I ask for evidence, of which here again, by your own admission, you cannot provide. d. So, brainwashed I am not, but you might be. The latest Cambridge Analytical experiment even proves how human's emotional buttons can be pushed in such a way as to manipulate those humans into certain behaviors. Religions certainly tap into people's emotions and thereby those people might lose their objective critical thinking skills. Kind of like even certain news medias and politicians do. It's effective and that is why they do it. But, via a long and detailed analysis, it appears that my parents (both long dead now), the religious institutions I have attended, and society in general have all lied to me. Some like my parents maybe unintentionally as maybe they didn't know any better. But others like formal long time religions who have had many people and thousands of years to discern what I have apparently discerned in less than one life time, I hold a different view of them. I believe they know the real truth but they don't tell the public the real truth for then they would have to give up their job security, benefits, continued funding, status and authorities in this life. e. If you can't even prove "God" actually exists, what makes you an expert on the subject?
