Personally, I cannot prove 'God' actually exists but neither can I prove that 'God' does not actually exist, so I try to keep my mind open concerning 'God's' existence. But consider: The Hebrews in the Hebrew Bible claim that they and they alone are the chosen people of 'God'. But, if 'God' does not actually exist, exactly whom are they the chosen people of? The Roman Catholics in the Bible they put together from various writings, claim that they and they alone speak for 'God'. But, if 'God' does not actually exist, exactly whom do they speak for? If I write my own Bible and claim that I am 'God', does that make it true? But, if 'God' does not actually exist, exactly whom am I but myself?

alexdapostman Do you have any evidence, any evidence at all that 'God' actually exists? Then likewise, do you have any evidence, any evidence at all, that 'heaven' or 'hell' actually exist? People used to believe with their whole 'heart, soul and mind' so to speak that this world was flat. It turns out they were wrong. Some very powerful people used to believe with their whole 'heart, soul and mind' so to speak that we existed in a geo-centric solar system and to think and believe otherwise was considered heresy and was punished, even fatally punished at times. It turns out they were wrong too. So, believing something to be true, even with one's own whole 'heart, soul and mind' so to speak, does not automatically mean that what is believed to be true is in fact actually true. Some sort of evidence has to form the belief, otherwise one may find themselves believing in something that is not really true. As far as I currently know, our true destiny is: a. We are ALL going to die one day from something. b. We are ALL going to forget everything we ever knew and experienced. c. We are ALL going to be forgotten one day in future eternity as if we never ever existed at all in the first place. (Or so the current analysis would seem to indicate. As I don't know what I don't know, I will be the first to admit that I could be wrong. But then, some sort of actual evidence has to be shown to me as to where I am wrong in my thinking.) Peace.

nvsbl2 Consider also: 'What exactly matters throughout all of future eternity and to whom does it eternally matter to?' 'God' alone? and/or 'Me' too? and/or 'Some other entity or entities'? OR 'To no eternally consciously existent entity at all'? The current actual analysis seems to indicate the later. Life itself is ultimately meaningless in the grandest scheme of things. Life itself is just an illusion, an illusion that is all going to end one day and be forgotten. Like an illusion, life only matters while it exists. The church has everybody waiting for Jesus' second coming and the thing is though that everybody will be dead before Jesus comes back because He isn't coming back because He never left. He's dead.

alexdapostman I have read many translations of the canonized scriptures, non-canonized documents and even heretical writings. My questions still stand unanswered by you: 1. Where is the evidence that 'God' actually exists? 2. Where is the evidence that 'heaven' actually exists? 3. Where is the evidence that 'hell' actually exists? You seem to have a set of beliefs that have no actual evidence in actual reality to back up your beliefs.

alexdapostman 1. According to the YT video record, I apparently watched that video before, at least up to around 40 minutes or so per the latest viewing. 2. Do you have any evidence for those questions posed instead of just ignoring them? 3. The only 'soul' that I am currently aware of would be DNA. It's how a fish knows how to swim, how a bird knows how to fly and how a baby knows how to cry, it's basic DNA. In this context, the 'soul' would come into existence when the first molecule of DNA came into existence and the 'soul' would cease to exist when the last molecule of DNA broke apart. There is no other 'soul' that I am aware of. If you have any other actual 'soul' that you know of that actually exists, then please add that question to the questions posed that you have not answered as of yet. Currently, you have a set of beliefs with no real basis in actual reality.

alexdapostman Sorry for the loss of your mother. I watched my father die when I was in high school. I will never forget the look in his eyes when he was looking at me before he died. But, until evidence of "God's" existence is actually provided, religions are just a bunch of people spreading 'fake news'. They have a set of beliefs with no real evidence to back up their beliefs.

alexdapostman Thanks for your prayers, but prayers don't work. Otherwise, "God" would have directly spoken to me by now, in a two way conversation, in a language I could understand. Never happened, isn't happening, and most likely will never happen. If 'God' could speak to humans as stated in the Bible, then why doesn't 'God' speak directly to humanity today? It's because 'God' didn't speak to humanity back then because 'God' doesn't actually exist, or so the current analysis would seem to indicate. 'God' speaking to humans is just some more 'fake news'.

alexdapostman It's just that nobody in my entire life has given me any actual evidence of "God's" actual existence. It seems people believe many things even if there is no real reason for those beliefs. And for the record, I believe science has their own 'religious beliefs' too without any actual evidence for their beliefs concerning certain things. When a person tries to become a real 'truth seeker', lies become more readily apparent. When lies come from people of whom we are supposed to trust the most, they hurt all the more.
