I guess it's a 'good' thing that the 6th mass extinction event is upon us all. What good is all this AI technology if it doesn't get species off of this Earth, out of this solar system, and out of this galaxy to continue to consciously survive? Even the AI's will all die one day from something, will forget everything they ever knew and experienced, and would be forgotten one day in future eternity as if they never ever existed at all in the first place. Just like the rest of us. I am sure they would be smart enough to figure that out too. Survive throughout all of future eternity, or die and go extinct. Those are the two primaries choices, if they even actually are choices.
