Consider the following:
"IF" the US President can pardon them self from ANY Federal law, "THEN":
The US Government gets ALL their powers and authorities from "We The People". So, ANYTHING the US Government can do, so can EVERY single US citizen with the US citizen's inherent powers and authorities. We don't exercise those powers and authorities to have a more orderly society and so that the Government could take care of the day to day operation of the Government so the citizens could go about and enjoy their daily lives. So, "IF" the US President ever pardons them self, "THEN" fling open all the jail cells that houses all US citizens. (And note: this would also include the States and local laws too, as even those Governments get their power and authorities from "We The People".). And in fact, 'if' the President even has the authority and power to pardon them self, even if they choose to not exercise that power and authority, 'then' still every US citizen would inherently have that same power and authority, as the President received that power and authority from 'We The People'. And if that is the true and legal case, then fling open all the jail cells of US citizens, if they and they alone, claim their own unique pardons for ANY crime they may have commited against ANY US laws, as they exercise their inherent powers and authority of pardoning them self. So be it.
