QUESTIONS: Okay, let's say Trump wins the Republican presidential primary. Then, what if: a. Trump goes to jail? b. Trump barely won the Presidential election when he did win years ago. How many less votes will he get this time?

Another question: Would the Republican party have a better chance of winning the Presidency with Haley, first woman ever to win the Presidency. How many extra votes might she get just because she would be the first woman President?

@TwoSense2640 Agreed about Trump probably getting less votes this time. He might still have to dip into his own funds to pay his bills, depending upon how all those charges pan out. Agreed also that a better candidate probably exists besides Joe. As a political Independent, also agreed about not being enthusiastic about the choices. For decades now it seems to be picking the 'best' as to whom is the least worst.

@TwoSense2640 What good would it do for the Republican party 'if' Trump wins the Republican primary, but loses in the General election? Personally, for various reasons, I could see Haley giving Joe a run for his money. Note also: I just made a comment reply to matthew above, but it is not showing on my screen. But in that comment, it also talked about Trump claiming he and he alone overturned RvW. How would that play out with many women in America when the airwaves are flooded with what Trump has done to women's rights?

@TwoSense2640 Regardless of your beliefs concerning abortion, DJT has already publically claimed that he and he alone is responsible for the change. How will that play out in the next Presidential election when the airwaves are flooded with what Trump has done to women's rights as the American women perceived those rights? Less votes for Trump? I would think so. Trump is carrying more baggage into this next election (should the Republican party put Trump forward to do so), which will most probably translate to less votes for Trump. Just because a person might be the best 'Primary' candidate that a party sees fit to put forward does not automatically mean that same person will win the 'General' election. I still question the sanity of the Republican party by putting so much faith in DJT.

@matthewjohnston1400 Votes: I guess I agree to disagree with you. Independent's vote: Myself personally being an Independent, I would pick Biden over Trump. BUT, I would have to take a hard look at Haley versus Biden. But hey, Republicans can put forward Trump and lose my vote. Their choice and my choice.

@MikeW165 Sure, not declared wars. And why exactly is that? And yet, the military industrial complex sure seems to be making huge profits as well as the US Government is going into huge debts, in part due to all the 'wars' that we are not fighting. How does that work?

@matthewjohnston1400 Well, you say you do not live in the US, if you are not an American citizen living outside of the USA, guess what? You do not get a vote. Plus consider also, Trump has said in public that basically he and he alone is responsible for overturning R v W. Many American citizens are upset about the Supreme Court's ruling and citizens have turned out in masses to set up abortion rights in many States. How do you believe that would affect Trump in a future Presidential election (besides all of his other issues) when election time gets closer and the airwaves are flooded with what Trump has done to women's rights?

@bossone1216 "Ask yourself simple questions." A. Was the world more peaceful under Trump or Biden? Biden. The world was worried Trump was going to start WW3. With Biden, the war in Ukraine/Russia and Palestine/Israel are not Biden's fault. B. Were things more affordable under Trump or Biden Trump, due to economic inflation, in part due to all the money given out to businesses and citizens due to 'C'. I could also ask, 'How many American citizens died under Trump versus Biden?' Probably Trump due to 'C'. C. Do you believe your vote for Biden will lead us to War possibly world war or will a vote for Trump lead us to war or world war 3 WW3 or not, this world is probably in a mass extinction event anyway due to the Earth's magnetism issues. Probably within the next decade or two, life is going to change for all species upon this Earth. (Per the current analysis).

@matthewjohnston1400 On your post concerning Trump's numbers looking good. But how many votes has Trump lost compared to when he won? If Biden gets more women to come out to vote, in part due to abortion issues, Trump would be sunk. Just like is occurring in many US States.

@TwoSense2640 How many 'prolife' people also support wars? Wars end people's lives too. How many religious people and 'prolife' Republicans do you hear saying stop wars, especially unjust wars? Plus, 'God' does not actually exist except for as a concept alone. Most prolifer's are religious people who believe God truly exists.

@matthewjohnston1400 Let me be clear: a. I am a valid American citizen politically Independent voter. b. "IF" the Republican party puts forward Trump as their candidate, I will NOT vote for Trump. c. So, in the case of Trump versus Biden, I vote for Biden. d. "IF" the Republican party puts forward Haley as their candidate, I seriously might just vote for Haley over Biden for various reasons. (Final decision to be made at a later date, but I am strongly leaning towards Haley at this time for various reasons.) e. Republican party makes their choice, then I make my choice.

@fordtuff2600 Consider also: How many Republican Trump supporters are donating to his run for Presidency again, of which how much of that money is being spent on Trump's legal issues rather than on him running for President (of which the money is supposed to be utilized for)? Why are Trump supporters clueless?

As far as you continuing this discussion, the more you reply to this thread, the more you push this thread higher up for this video for more people to see my opening comment. Very few if any will read this far down. Currently, 5 people have given my opening comment a thumbs up. Thank you for your service in helping me to spread my ideas concerning the upcoming Presidential election. Concerning Trump specifically, I swore an oath when I joined the US Navy to preserve, protect and defend the United States Constitution, not to any specific person. Former President Trump in my personal view, has violated his oath of office that he swore to the American people. I do not like Trump and will not vote for Trump because Trump is trying to destroy America and it's Constitution. Agree or disagree with me, I do not care. "IF" the Republican party puts Trump forward as their Presidential candidate, this political Independent voter will not be voting for him. "IF" you want me to vote for a Republican President candidate, maybe the Republicans should put forward Haley, but they probably won't for various reasons. Again, the Republican party has their choices, as I have my choices. Also as you have choices to continue to respond to this thread or not. Every comment you make though, helps me spread my ideas further. Fully your freewill choice.

@matthewjohnston1400 Northern Michigan here. As far as your view concerning Biden, some might argue Trump would be the one destroying America. Myself personally, I felt I had to become a political Independent years ago as I could not in good faith fully support either major political party. I fully support a woman's right to choose as well as I fully support American's right to own and utilize guns. Neither party supports both of those items. Also, Democrats generally speaking want health care for all American citizens whereas Republicans do not. Then there is also Democrats want citizens to be able to freely vote in fair elections whereas Republicans do not. Republicans want more secure borders which I support, and Democrats it appears do not. As far as America being destroyed though, it is going to occur in part due to economic inflation. The US Fed has a goal of 2% economic inflation every year, and that is on top of all the 2%'s that came before it, which eventually turns out to be an exponential amount of inflation. Most citizens do not have wages, benefits and investments that keep up with the true cost of inflation. Most citizens in America are getting poorer. Sure, many get pay raises, but economic inflation goes up faster. America is on an unsustainable path, including it's ever growing national debt. The USA has already been financially downgraded twice that I am aware of just in my lifetime alone. America is destroying itself from within. But every nation on this Earth as well as the global economy is probably going to fail one day as most people on this Earth do not get pay raises, benefit increases, and investment increases that keep up with the true cost of inflation. Of course also, the Earth's magnetism issues are probably going to wipe out a lot in the next decade or two. Time will tell.

@matthewjohnston1400 Well, one has to ask themselves and honestly answer: How should we help take care of the young, old, ill and needy, if even at all? How would we want to receive help should we be individually young, old, ill and/or needy, if even at all? How should those be treated who are being forced to exist how they do not want to exist? How should we treat others if we are being forced to exist how we do not want to exist? And who decides? And by what authority do they and they alone get to decide? And where does the money and resources come from to do what we would like to do for how we would like to exist while we do exist?

@matthewjohnston1400 a. Health Care: Medicare, Medicaid and services like VA health care are all socialized medicine. The Government also regulates and tries to keep safe food and medicines. b. Food: Government also has food programs for those who need it. More socialized items where necessary. c. Bailouts: Note also, the Government also gives aid and bailouts to many businesses. Socialized bailouts for businesses as well. d. "authority is vested in personal autonomy and property." 'Authority' is vested in 'We The People', a Government 'Of The People, By The People, And For The People'. And note also, not every American citizen owns property but they are still American citizens none the less. Note also: Per The US Declaration Of Independence, 'We' have a right and duty to alter and even abolish any Government that does not keep us 'safe and happy' as 'We' and 'We' alone deem that 'safe and happy' to be, and to set up another Government that 'We' and 'We' alone deem would make us 'safe and happy'. Fortunately, 'We' have only had to alter the US Government as evidenced by the Amendments to the US Constitution, and 'We' will probably not abolish the US Government until either during or immediately after the next mass extinction event by those who are remaining, (along with abolishing America's ever growing national debt), and will establish 'America 2.0' with a new improved Constitution and zero national debt. Seeing into the future allows one to prepare for the future now. Being able to see into the future is both a blessing and a curse.

Then I found out about the 'Sort by', 'Newest first' trick to see the comments. Recently also though, I posted comments, and they definitely posted, but at times not only is the comment not showing when checking back but even the reply counter does not reflect the comment being posted, but yet the Google bell notification goes off for me if someone posts a comment for that thread near my comment. Either there are some issues at YT and/or they do not like some of my comments. I know I get shadow blocked on some YT channels because I disagree at times with the channel holder's world view. But it all helps to pass the time. Polite exchanges: Yes, I agree with you. I have been online for many years now and have found out that there are all kinds of people in this world with varying agendas. Whenever I come across an intelligent discussion, it's like finding a gem amongst all the weeds. As has been said by others many times, 'we can disagree without being disagreeable'. Part of why I am out here on YT and elsewhere is to try to tap into the 'wisdom of the crowd' for my theory of everything and other ideas as listed on my page. Plus here again, it helps to pass the time at this stage in my life.
