The Constitution of The United States is still the Constitution of the United States and the 2nd Amendment to that Constitution is still the 2nd Amendment to that Constitution. "Amendment II A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." What part of that do the Democrats not understand?

@mikusoxlongius Doesn't Congress also swear an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States? If they are not doing so, possibly impeach those who do not come into alignment of how they are supposed to be?

@ThatOpalGuy 'My side'??? I am a political Independent and am not beholden to any political party. I do not fully agree with any major political parties' platform in it's entirety and I can think for myself. Sad to say though, instead of having to choose between the best candidate, lately it has been the choice of choosing the 'least worst'.

@chlebowg In a way, 'yes' they can. If a persons says they are a woman, then that makes them a woman. Isn't that how the Democrats view a child's right to choose?

@chlebowg So, from the Dem's perspective, a man says he is a woman, then he is a woman, and likewise, a woman says she is a man, then she is a man. I wonder what biology class they took in high school and/or college, if any at all. Can a 'man' get pregnant and have a baby? But then again, there are some women who cannot get pregnant and have a baby, does that make them eligible to become a man if they choose to do so?

@SemperSalam Consider the following: At least the US President, but probably all pertinent Government officials swear an oath, for the US President, The Constitution of the United States, Article II, Section 1 (in part): The President's Oath or Affirmation: "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States." Now: a. Either President Biden's 'best' is not good enough, of which then either President Biden needs to come more into alignment with what the US Constitution says, b. Or, President Biden broke his oath of office, of which, could be grounds for impeachment, (or 25th Amendment), either way President Biden would be removed from office. And any VP that took over as President, would have to face the same oath and laws.

@andyroubik5760 Obviously you have never been basically on 'death row' with a terminal illness for a prolonged period of time. Additionally, people who might think like you hint to, who's being more selfish? The person ending their own life or the person or people who don't want the person to end their own life? And who's life is it anyway? Don't and/or shouldn't people, at least adults, be legally allowed to be able to choose for themselves?

@thisissparta8884 Basically it seems, that if the Democrats want certain gun laws, then the Democrats have to change the US Constitution to do so. Otherwise, guns stay in the hands of American citizens.
