  1. DNA acquisition: Let's face it, the USA does it too. a. Sure, to help people be 'normal' with less disease and illness. (Selling point). b. But also, to make 'super humans' and species that can exist in other environments and on other planets and/or to have special abilities (genetic engineering). c. Also to see who is prone to what disease and to possibly not insure that individual for that disease (pre-existing potential condition), so that insurance companies can maximize their profits. d. To help solve crimes, (or manipulate evidence). e. To help identify individuals after a disaster of some sort. f. To have power and control over others to maximize one's benefits over others. g. To be able to wipe out individuals and/or species with genetics. (Dark side). h. To basically play 'God'.
