@DavidRichardson153 The thought process is basically a reverse power structure. For example, to increase power, forces are unified and aligned. And in a multi-generational long term structure like a formal political party, a non-profit organization, a business, or even a government itself, power gets consolidated in the hands of the few. In a system of self governance that 'We The People' are supposed to have, democracy can become, (and I believe has become), corrupt as powerful organizations get into positions of power and control over a nation, which often benefits themselves, but not often benefits the rest of 'We The People'. To implement such a process I believe would probably require a Constitutional Amendment to make it stick longer, but also make it harder to implement.
As far as the 6th mass extinction event, I believe it has already started due to natural reasons (Earth's magnetic field weakening, projected to be at it's weakest around 2035 based upon the latest information I have seen, as well as the Earth's magnetic field moving, and all the associated issues related to those items), and the 6th mass extinction event won't be the last. Eventually, if my analysis is correct, this Earth itself, our solar system, and the galaxy will all collapse into the center of the galaxy due to the very same forces that allow galaxies to form in the first place. ONLY those species from this Earth that make it off of this Earth, out of this solar system, and out of this galaxy, (if it can actually be done for various reasons), continue to survive. Everybody else eventually dies and goes extinct. Such is life until life is no more.
But, rich people who choose to, and the US Government, the US Government doing it with tax payer's money, have been, and continue to, build safe underground bunkers and infrastructure to save their own asses while the rest of their fellow American citizens would most probably die a horrible death on the surface of the Earth. Those bunkers are not just for WW3, but many are built to withstand even WW3. Did the US Government send you an invite into one of those safe bunkers paid for with in part your tax payer dollars? If not, why not? Just the few powerful people running this nation looking out for themselves at the expense of everyone else? It sure seems to to me.
Of which, bringing this back to this video's discussion, reduce military spending and build more safe underground bunkers and infrastructure to try to save more Americans from dying on the surface of this Earth. But, most probably all Americans won't be able to fit long term. So, who gets an invite and who doesn't? Who gets saved and who dies? (Of which the current analysis also indicates that we are all going to die one day anyway one way or another, even those in the safe bunkers. They are only delaying the inevitable.)

@DavidRichardson153 Basically, it seems we are individuals in a larger society of individuals. How exactly should we, individually and as a larger society of individuals, exist while we do exist? And who decides? And by what authority do they and they alone get to decide?
Should I decide how you should exist? Should you decide how I should exist? Should others decide how we both should exist? Should we decide in how others should exist? And who even decides in how to decide? And by what authority do they and they alone get to decide?
This individual in a larger society of individuals, who decides, and by what authority they and they alone get to decide, is the cause of much strife, suffering and death in this world. Or so it seems to me.
But still, how exactly should we, individually and as a larger society of individuals, exist while we do exist? And who decides? And by what authority do they and they alone get to decide? With all the consequences and ramifications, seen and unseen, of all those collective choices.
Do any of us choose to try to survive beyond this Earth, solar system and galaxy? Or do we choose to all die and go extinct? The choice might literally be ours collectively.
