HYDROGEN: (See my Twitter page under the same name as this comment). Many nations are moving their nation to utilizing Hydrogen for various reasons. It's not the future, it's here now. Even Shell, (basically a fossil fuel company), is building numerous Hydrogen filling stations. For example, one could hedge their investment by going with Shell. You snooze, you lose what might have been.

@peterscherling9000 Basically everything I have seen and studied so far, seems to indicate that Hydrogen is the natural replacement for fossil fuels. Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe and there are many ways to obtain Hydrogen. And the world has basically already been on a Hydrogen economy for a long time now, 'hydro-carbons', Hydrogen and Carbon. Now we just need to drop the carbon and utilize the Hydrogen. Preferable with 'green' energy to split water (could even be melted snow and ice), then recombine the Hydrogen and Oxygen in a Hydrogen fuel cell to get electricity back with a by-product of basically pure water, and the world needs more pure water too. But also, I don't expect people to take my word for it. I just direct them to the nations and businesses who are putting their money and other resources into Hydrogen and Hydrogen technologies. But from a financial perspective, it would seem to me that Hydrogen is a growth investment right now, even internationally.

@ronaldmcdonald3965 If one were to utilize 'green' energy (ie: solar, wind), to split water (H2O), of which could even come from melted snow and ice, into H2 and O2, and then recombine the H2 and O2 in a Hydrogen fuel cell, then one could get the electricity back with a by-product of basically pure water, of which the world needs more pure water too. The atmosphere could be utilized to store the O2 if one didn't want to store it separately and the stored H2 could be utilized for those times when the Sun doesn't shine nor the wind blow. Numerous companies around the world are utilizing Hydrogen, including Shell, who is basically a fossil fuel company. Do you want 'fries' or a 'hot apple pie' with that Ronald?
