  1. Im from NYC and have always done that but now more than ever bc theres not just random men botherin you but crazy homeless too. The less attention you draw to yourself the safer you feel.. especially when youre alone. PS. Stop saying a tank top or dress arent modest clothes.. Were not in the 1800s or North Korea.
