  1. Soo true!! Im the same age but single and frankly satisfied with my life. One of my best friends is married and has 3 kids and shes always buggin me about havin kids.. tbh I dont see her any happier than I am, actually her hubby cheated on her and that was rough. She says she wants me to be ‘completely’ happy but I think deep down she just wants me and our other single friends to have kids and not be too happy. Havin kids or even a husband doesnt mean you’ll be happier.

  3. Im also single in my 30s and tbh Ifeel happier like this. Idk Ive been in relationships but Ifeel more free and with less stress single. I can do whatever I want whenever I want, have fam and friends but dont wanna spend all my time with them. Maybe a more sociable person would find it difficult but I’m good ☺️

  6. Elliecatify Exactly! Idk why Chelsea thinks u gotta be rich to be a minimalist. Most of us can afford good quality stuff but are broke bc we spend so much on cheap things. At least I did but not anymore. And Ive saved more money than ever before.

  7. Theres no turning back.. Once I realize how bad fast fashion and overconsumption is, I just cant buy stuff for the sake of it. I take my time(days) to think if I really need that item. Most of the time I dont so I avoid buyin on impulse and its getting easier and easier to not do it.

  13. I agree with most of this but Im not into travelin and bein near a lot of ppl (eg airplanes) Especially with viruses and so many crazy ppl everywhere. I rather just go places in my town and save as much as I can

  17. OmG me too!! This has really shown peoples true state of minds and hearts. Two of my closes friends since HS, they both not only support Trump till now, they think its all a hoax, believe about chips, anti vaxxers etc. The complete opposite of me and they still wanna talk to me and try to change my mind. One Ihave alrdy blocked from contactin me and the other.. I wont see her till she comes to her senses. I dont need ignorant ppl like that in my life and Im not gonna waste my time with them.

  18. This is similar to what I used to do. I use to be a dancer in night clubs while I was goin to college. My dad left my mom and I before I finished HS and my mom was ready to deal with all the bills on her own. I wanted to study and I had to get a job that let me study full time and also help mom with the bills. She then got sick so I had to pay for everything on my own. People will judge others especially women, when most of the time we had no other choice. Now I have a good payin job and while I work more hrs and make less than when I was dancin, Im happy. I wouldnt judge another woman for what she does to make a livin. Its hard for us women out there and more so for single moms or women who have dependents.

  21. The problem are such high rents!!! Even in NYC if you make a decent amount of money youre gonna end up with roomates. I mean yea livin with your bf/gf helps but everyone wants to stay single now bc its cheaper so its like a never endin cycle.🤷🏻‍♀️

I was bridesmaid to my bf and she picked our dresses which were 400 each and professional makeup/hair, airbnb, transport, take two days off frok work, night out before her wedding etc. Her hubby ended up cheatin on her less than a yr later while she was preg.

  35. Im also savin almost the same here in NYC. I live with my parents too otherwise I wouldnt be able to save that amount. Its a bit annoyin to still be livin with them but everythin is so expensice that at the end is totally worth it.👌🏼😌

My job gave me a 401k account this yr but it doesnt let me contribute and they put money on it like 400 every three mnths. I dont understand why everytime Icheck the amount goes down and never up?!   38. Im a Newyorker and what we went thru not even in my worst nightmares I thought it would happen. I dont wish it on absolutely anyone/anywhere yet I know its happenin and even worse in other places. To control the infections its more about the people than the location. Theres still ppl out there thinkin wearin a mask is against their freedom??! Do they even know what a pandemic means and how one infected could mean one less job?? Or life??

  40. Thats crazy idk wth I just watched. Minimalism is perfect lifestyle now more than ever. Now that Im spendin more time at home I love the space and the look of it. Without mounts of clothes, and things piled up on every corner. This lady is buyin things out of boredom and probably will toss them away in a few mnths.
