  17. Bethesda also started to peak in their world design, which is hard to notice in these type of vids, started it rolling with Oblivion, but hit their stride with Fallout 3 (best enviromental storytelling in game up there w peak Valve), Skyrim (duh) and Fallout 4.

  27. As far as Skyrim vs Oblivion, they added casual bs like my level 1 orc shooting lighting out of his hands and regenerating health (modded that bs out) that got me big mad, but Skyrim is undeniably the :goat-turquoise-white-horns: of world art design in gaming.

  36. Games devs used to routinely hit us with wtf awesome hammers. For example, Tim Cain's favorite was Ultima Online. Todd Howards was Ultima 6. Mine is Ultima Underworld. Ultima 1 is the first JRPG. One series have at least 5+ 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
