  34. @@Dora-hi2nw you're not being specific enough. it would depend on the reason that the new employee got paid more than me for doing the same job. - If they did the same job, but they were more productive I would understand. - if they did the same job but they worked overtime, and I didn't, I would understand. - if they did the same job but got paid more because of their gender, I would take them to court. In your example, what would be the specific reason the person got paid more than me?

  35. @@Dora-hi2nw it is illegal to pay someone differently in Canada based on race, gender, or religion, so if my boss paid me less for one of these reasons I would take them to court. That's why it almost never happens. There is about 20 reasons men make more than women on average and that is not one of them. I think we should close the pay Gap by addressing the reasons there is a pay gap, starting with the largest reasons first.
