  1. My Canon PowerShot ELPH 360 HS point-and-shoot camera is more compact than my phone, and does a great job. I can zoom 12x (optically; not digitally, but I hate digital zoom) to take far shots (I admit there's better, but that's usually good enough for me), and I can also take extreme close-ups in perfectly clear focus, with the camera actually touching the subject. I'm keeping it for as long as it works.
