  1. Same! You'd buy an album for song X because of the video, but then you'd discover song Y, which had no video but was even better, and sometimes you'd even skip song X because you got sick of hearing it. I don't know if it's true, but I like to think that artists would "save" some of their "better", richer, deeper, more interesting work for the true fans who bought the album.

  3.  @claytonbouldin9381  Ha ha! So many people ditched their CDs ... to my benefit :) I'm amazed what I can find at thrift stores and other second-hand-media stores; stuff I can't find new at what few new-music stores are left.
