  1. Back in the '70s, '80s, & '90s, there were plenty of songs I liked, but couldn't understand the lyrics to; they were simply incomprehensible. At some point it became possible to find the lyrics to just about any song on the Internet - so I eagerly looked up the lyrics to my old favourite songs. Not only did I find that I had committed many mondegreens, but ... the lyrics didn't make any sense whatsoever, anyway. Mucho disappointment! Ah; still like the songs.
