  1. ​ @RDKirbyN  In 2021, extrapolated from studies in 2013, 2014, and 2015, the American Bird Conservancy estimated half a million birds killed by wind turbines per year in the US alone. Is that a comfortable number for you? Over a span of 10 years (2011-2021), Syncrude was fined $5.75 million for the deaths of ~1600 ducks & 30 blue herons in its tailings ponds. Is anyone paying for the half-million birds killed by wind turbines in just one country? Nope; green animal slaughter is okay because it is environmentally friendly. Yay green energy!
