@randallbesch2424 Yes, birds are killed by fossil-fuel pollution. But the point is, this alternative, which is boldly, proudly, and explicitly claimed to be better for the environment, kills millions of birds every year.

In 2021, extrapolated from studies in 2013, 2014, and 2015, the American Bird Conservancy estimated half a million birds killed by wind turbines per year in the US alone. Over a span of 10 years (2011-2021), Syncrude was fined $5.75 million for the deaths of ~1600 ducks & 30 blue herons in its Alberta tailings ponds. On the other hand, green, environmentally friendly animal slaughter is okay because no one has to pay for it. Yay green energy!

@randallbesch2424 So the green option is to cover vast swathes of green with enormous fields of resource-intensive solar panels and wind turbines.

@Ricky_Baldy Are you serious? This technology which is supposed to protect nature covers and overshadows the nature we so claim to treasure. I've also seen rows and rows of green hills covered up by solar panels. Disgusting.

Probably a drone.

Where is the green in all of this? Oh, yeah: it's overshadowed by gigantic wind turbines and solar panels. Is there any natural landscape that will not eventually be ruined by these gigantic, resource-intensive environmental obscenities? And how many birds do those turbines kill every year? Millions.
