  1. Part of the reason is cost and time. Back then the normal family unit existed where each person in the family had a role, and worked together as a team to accomplish things. A woman typical would take care of the home so she had time to help her husband dress well. And the man spent more time at work to provide for his family so he could buy that nice dress for his wife.

  2. The problem is with most girls like her is once they finish high school, they have nothing to do, so they sit at home and see those ads in TV. With nothing better to do, they enroll into the schools, finish, then give shitty haircuts.
