  2. They are changing. Windows Phone OS will be shutdown next year. However I understand Windows Andromeda will be released which will be for mobile ARM devices.

  4. Those Lumias were not that cheap as compared to similar Android phones with similar specs. In fact they were of better quality after purchasing an Alcatel One Touch Fierce XL last year. Trying to talk to someone using the built in speakers/mic is like trying to communicate with with tin cans and string.
