@jt thorsson Americans have a real psychological issue with knives. Don't know where it comes from, but they seem to lose it when someone pulls a knife on them, but are able to handle having a gun stuck in their face... I'm guessing you've seen the embarrassing video out of New York cops, where the sandwich shop guy just takes the knife of the guy? He was Middle-Eastern, I think... Police in the US could definitely do with better training with respect to dealing with knives, but then, they could also do with being REQUIRED to wear body armour that was both bullet AND blade-rated. But, with all that said, a knife is a weapon. In the US, cops carry guns. Don't complain if you bring a weapon and someone else brings a better one - that's on you for being dumb.

@jt thorsson LOL, you're utterly clueless. Spend a week working response with the police and your attitude would change VERY fast. I'm wondering if you've ever been in a proper fight.

@jt thorsson I'm English, so have always pronounced it as Cull-en. Dave Cullen (YouTuber) is from the East of Ireland, where the name originates. In an Irish accent it sometimes sounds a bit closer to Cal-en.
