  1. "Invasion" is, as far as I'm aware (and concerned) is a de facto state of war. Action to assist the invasion is, therefore, by definition, Treason (even under the restricted definition in the US Constitution). An order to commit treason is an illegal order. Issuing an illegal order is grounds for court martial, even for the Commander-in-chief.
