He's not a christian, he's a communist infiltrator. You can't be a christian and a communist - or support communism. Anyone who claims otherwise doesn't understand the ideological framework of either.

Dex A little? 🤣🤣🤣 This is one of many of the moral distinctions between Christianity and Marxism... Another is that Christianity understands that humans are inherently flawed, that no-one is perfect; that one must be mindful of one's own sins, before casting judgement upon others, whereas Marxism tells you to murder anyone who do not live up to arbitrary ideological purity tests, "for the greater good".

@utubedestroysmytime Ideal, but grounded in the day-to-day reality that people are flawed - that we should hold ourselves and others to high standards, but accept that they will sometimes fail. Failure should be treated with compassion (which does NOT mean "excused away endlessly"), rather than extreme punishment...

@kylekataryn LOL! I am a computer programmer. I am the means of production. I don't belong to anyone! You REALLY don't understand freedom. My freedom is granted by God, not "the state". 🤦♂️

@randompleb6908 I return you to my original point about not understanding the intellectual basis of both philosophies. At the core, Christianity is about making personal choices for the good of others; freely giving your time and wealth to those less fortunate. Marxism commands that anyone who "has more" should have it taken away from them by force. Or more simply: yes, superficially, they're about sharing stuff, but Christianity is about sharing your own stuff while Marxism sharing everyone ELSE'S stuff.

Dex Yep, there is a moral quandary in wealth: if I give away "all I can spare", that's good... But if I give away less this year, which means I can give more the year after and more the year after that, so that over the course of many years, I do more good than I would have...
