@joeferreti9442 Yeah, coal and oil plants are FAR worse. The radioactive isotopes put into the atmosphere by burning coal and oil FAR outstrip all the nuclear reactor accidents and weapon tests combined. Chernobyl was due to a flawed and CHEAP plant design. Fukushima was caused by Chernobyl - there has basically been a freeze on new nuclear plants because of Chernobyl, which is why Fukushima was still operating, despite being 40 years old (designed to go 25 IIRC). Again, IIRC, Fukushima predates both 3 Mile Island and Chernobyl, both of which added fundamental changes to reactor designs...
