  1. Hydrogen is a TERRIBLE fuel source. The storage requirements are the main problem - the energy required to maintain the storage and avoid wastage are awful. Absent some magical breakthrough in "room temperature" hydrogen storage, something like methane is far more practical - use renewables/nuclear to run Sabatier generators, store using existing infrastructure.
