  1. This is fundamentally wrong. Entropy tends to increase, which, definitionally, is the destruction of information. A hashing algorithm is a non-reversible operation, deliberately so.

  2. @lost4468yt  Energy and information is a false equivalence. Energy cannot be lost, information can. I understand the way in which physicists use the term information in this context, I am saying it is nonsensical to treat energy and information as synonyms. I do not agree that faster-than-light travel is impossible - there are non-relativistic possibilities. FTL communication is not prohibited, just misunderstood.
