  1. The best analogy is the Kia USB vulnerability. If someone went around stealing and crashing Kias to "bring attention to the issue", they are still doing something malicious and hurting innocent people who did nothing more than buy a Kia in good faith. Saying "the people who stole the cars did nothing wrong, it's all Kia's fault" is utterly retarded.
