  4. ​ @basilefff  Gotos in error handling are only required for poorly structured code, or code that adheres to arbitrary "don't use nested if statement" nonsense, which is every bit as cancerous as goto itself. Goto only remains valid in extremely performance critical code, which 99% of people never need to write - and half of the 1% definitely shouldn't!
