@ForgottenWeapons Ian, it's about Carl Benjamin (Sargon of Akkad) - they way they pulled his Patreon for PURELY partisan political reasons. I would support you, but NEVER through Patreon. If you're not aware of it, you should check out the history, there's plenty of videos on YT discussing. Frankly, I'm disappointed you still use Patreon at all...

@daniellewis1789 I'm, sorry, but calling Carl "alt-right" is defamatory; it is a flat-out LIE. The only person being dishonest here is you. The allegations of "harassment" are from his direct political opponents. Carl has a DOCUMENTED history of ACTIVELY supporting other creators, often behind the scenes. He doesn't do this for his own aggrandisement; the only time I've heard about it is from the creators in question who have volunteered that Carl has reached out to them to provide advice and support. I note that you also neglected to mention that he is of black heritage? His father is mixed-race and his paternal grandfather is black. His family name - Benjamin - is a SLAVE NAME; his paternal ancestors were owned by someone who's given name was Benjamin. This is how slaves were given names upon their emancipation. He is a genuine individual, with "all the right credentials" to talk on the subjects he want, except one: he opposes Socialism in all its forms. This is why fools like you attach defamatory labels, like "alt-right" to him. In case anyone else is reading this is in any doubt: Carl is a FIRM advocate for the 2nd Amendment, to the point where he's actively considering whether we should have that right in Britain, as would be consistent with our history and heritage. SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.

@daniellewis1789 🤦🏻‍♂️ It's about the principle. They acted in a way that many consider unlawful (breach of contract) or at least in VERY bad faith. Your argument is "well, I bought a gun from them and it didn't break", when you're surrounded by people who's guns DID break AND the manufacturer told them to do one. The point is that the people aware of their bad conduct have decided not to use their services anymore - this was a BigDeal™ at the time, with many creators losing BIG, as people abandoned Patreon. The creators I continue to follow either abandoned Patreon too or at the very least actively supported people voting with their feet.

Nothing, EVER - because of they way they treated Sargon (Carl Benjamin) and others. I will NEVER give another penny to Patreon. SubscribeStar or Locals, yes, Patreon, no.
