  2.  @N..P..  That "argument" is so moronic, that I don't think the English language has the words to describe just how dumb it is. Your right to free speech doesn't mean shot when the government, courts and media collude to censor you. Your right to a fair trial by a jury of your peers doesn't mean anything if the government and the courts collude to suppress your rights. NOTHING means anything when evil people with power decide to target you. The reason for the codification of rights is to attempt to protect the rights of people in the general case. The general case being that that attacks and threats are rarely ambushes.
