Coming from someone in the aviation industry, we’re all holding our collective breath, until the next major disaster happens in America, thanks to the atrocious quality of Air Traffic Controllers, due to Bama modifying their testing requirements back in 2014. We nearly had a Tenerife type catastrophe at Reagan International last spring, because of an incompetent ground controller clearing a jetliner onto an active runway. You can instantly tell who the D E I hires are, simply from their utter lack of aviation syllabus and correct use of ICAO terms. Heck, most cannot even memorize the phonetic alphabet, that’s how bad it is?

And the ironic part about D E I, is that it affects Indian and Chinese students the most, since they’re passed over for blk students in Ivy League schools, or positions in their respected field…..EVERY TIME. This insane policy has ZERO to do with diversity, but to give a leg up for the 13% who cannot get anywhere near the grades required for everyone else!
