  1. Even QC on Rolex brand watches have some issues (and hold back your watch warranty for 12 months). And don't think that high dollar mechanical Automatic watches do not have problems keeping time with the watch having to be sent back time after time to the authorised dealer to get it fixed (in house calibre that they wouldn't replace) until the owner just gave up and now the watch just resides in the back of a drawer.

  3. You get what you pay for. I purchased a NEDSS C17 watch, the exhibition case back said it was a C18 and it came in a EGARD box, with a rather nice real leather strap if I wanted to replace the 24mm wide Stainless Steel one. The $238 NEDSS C17 has Tritium Lume and a Miyota Caliber 82S7 typically found in microbrand watches around $500-1000+. I am very happy with this watch as quality really can't be criticised for what it is. A micro brand 72S7 Tritium would probably be in the $1000-2000 cost range.
