The whole luxury brand concept is for the poor to spend money they do not have purely for the perceived status of that product and these companies can rip them off with ease. My ACER Aspire 3 laptop cost £179 about 5 years ago, its hard drive crapped out about 2 years ago so I installed a £40 SSD and another £20 on 4GB of addition RAM but Windows 10 just would not reinstall. So I installed free Linux Ubuntu. Now been using it for 2 years without any problems. Why on earth would anyone pay $3000 for an Apple Mac.

  6. I remember that problem with Intel around 1997. I was developing some algorithms for statistic functions for dynamic thermography image processing using exponential curve stripping calculations where one of variables should never been greater than 1.000000. I was getting numbers like 1.00000567 etc and I was tearing my hair out trying to find where in my programming was generating the bug. Everything worked fine on an older 387 maths co processor.
